Vivian Ofre is an emerging spoken word artist based in Calabar. She is a passionate change maker actively engaged in promoting the sustainable development goal 13, through her organization; ECO VIBES.
In less than a year of officially pursuing Spoken Word Poetry as a hubby, she has performed at major poetry events and open mics in Calabar, such as; The Rhapsodists, Lyrical Miracles, Speak up Now, and at the Red Door Lounge’s Open Mic Night. She has also organized one spoken word event; Calabar Poetry Jam, and an online poetry competition; Earth Rhythms. She believes that poetry in all its forms, is a beautiful art, that can be used as a powerful tool for change, as such, uses poetry in her work as an environmental advocate.
Vivian is an award-winnng Debater, and a Fellow of the Barack Obama’s Young African Leaders Inititiative. She holds a degree in Applied Geophysics from the University of Calabar, Calabar.
