The past editions at Ibadan have lived up to billing, with the promotion of upcoming spoken word artists, poets, singers, comedians, etc. Already known acts have also graced the stage, with the likes of Tade Ipadeola Kukogho Iruesiri Samson, Uche Uwadinachi, Soonest Nathaniel, Servio Gbadamosi, Street Poet, Funmi Aluko, Iquo Eke, Ogbeni Femi, Ndukwe Onuoha, Enigmatic Olumide, etc.

Called a poetry and sundry talent event, Be Blessed, gives a platform where people can show their talents without fear of sentiments or fame. The serene atmosphere of Zoological gardens in University of Ibadan, where all the Ibadan editions hold, also adds to the flavor that the event adds to creative gatherings in Ibadan, and Nigeria as a nation.

Next edition of the event will start by 1:00pm at same venue, UI Zoo, on 26 April 2014. It will be featuring emerging voices alongside already known poets as usual, with the likes of Olulu (organizer of Word Up), Eriata Oribhabor (organizer of a Thousand Poets for Change in Nigeria), Servio Gbadamosi (organizer of Artmosphere), Wale Owoade (leader at Artbeat Africa), Enigmatic Olumide (the host of Be Blessed), and more known and upcoming names. Fast rising Ibadan based comedian, Chris Da Lecturer will be making a comeback to crack ribs after a spectacular performance at the last edition.

Be Blessed 6 will also be used to launch a DVD documenting finest moments at the earlier editions of the event. The DVD could be sold for as low as N300 on 26 April 2014 as incentive to people who will witness this edition.

This event is organized by EGC Media Company in association with a faith based organization called Order.
