Ignorance, Problems and Opportunities.
We pay for our ignorance everyday and we will continue to pay for it till the day we die. Why? It is simple, you can’t know everything and you can’t do everything. In the unlikely situation that you know everything and can do everything, you cannot have the luxury of time to do everything when it should be done, how it should be done and in the order it should be done.
Ignorance is the lack of knowledge or information on a subject matter.
We can’t stop paying for our ignorance, but we can reduce it to the barest minimum by netting it off i.e. getting someone else to pay us for their ignorance. How do we do that? Simple, we ensure we are not ignorant in the areas where other people are ignorant. To put it another way, we identify their problem(s) and proffer solutions by offering expert advice/ services based on the requisite knowledge and information to solve the problem. Therefore, being ignorant is a problem.
You see, having a problem you can’t solve means you are ignorant of the subject matter, and fact is, everybody has a problem that needs solving (so everybody is ignorant at one point or the other). Most times, some don’t even know they have a problem until they are given the solution.
The ability to solve a problem for one person and make such a person pay for the solution means you can simply replicate the process several times over for different people. Thus, you would get people to pay you for their ignorance, because they lack the necessary knowledge and information to solve their problems. This repetition of the process of problem solving is creation of opportunities.
