AP-Tomorrow Never Came (Spoken Word Poetry)

Tomorrow Never Came is a spoken word poem that tells an African story of child labour, teenage sex, neglect of girl child education and poverty. It seeks to provoke the minds of people towards changing the reality of millions of children in Africa.

The poet Andrew Patience(AP) wrote the piece based on a real life event of a teenage hawker in North Central Nigeria.

The video was produced and directed by Achor Yusuf, founder of the Art@tack film Academy. Art@tack film Academy trains and support young film makers in Nigeria for free.

Screenplay was by Iliyasu Kasimu, a script writer and journalist with VOA.
